Rice Ball is coming Oct 1st!

Rice Ball is an incredible skater from Chinook City Roller Derby league in Calgary. He has been on skates for most of his life and he has been involved in local Roller Derby since the beginning. Rice Ball could often been found at Lloyd’s roller rink before it closed working on his dance moves. Rice Ball’s fluid skating style crosses over nicely into Roller Derby as it helps him to move swiftly across the track to avoid hits and take other out. We are lucky to have him come by and share some of his knowledge with us.

We are opening this practice up to anyone who want to attend. There is a $10 drop in fee from skaters outside of RVRDA. Practice runs from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the King’s Court Church in Airdrie.
