RVRDA hosted our triannual ‘Try-it Night’on September 19th 2018. It was our greatest success to date with over 25 attendees.

Our try-it nights are evening where we invite anyone interested in learning about Roller Derby and RVRDA. We talk a bit about how our league works and what is involved when you join. We also have gear to lend out so that everyone in attendance gets a chance to actually skate. During the skating portion we show you all the skills you will need to play Roller Derby. The skill range from basic strides to transitions to jumping, believe me, we will have you jumping on roller skates in less than an hour!
